Apprentice
Apprentice electrician
You're starting out or partway through your hours. You'll work under a journeyman, get your hours signed off properly, and see both residential and commercial work instead of doing one thing for four years.
Journeyman
Journeyman electrician
Licensed and running your own work. Service calls, installations, and commercial projects. You'll have a truck, a stocked inventory, and the authority to make the call on site instead of phoning in for permission.
Master
Master electrician / foreman
Running crews and jobs. Bid support, scheduling, and the inspections. If you want a path toward managing the commercial side of the business, that path exists here.
What it's actually like here
Every contractor's careers page says "competitive pay" and "great team." Here's the specific version.
You'll see both sides of the trade
We run residential and commercial. That means you're not doing the same apartment turn every day for three years, and it means your license is worth more when you leave than when you arrived. Apprentices get rotated deliberately rather than parked wherever they're convenient.
The truck is stocked
You shouldn't lose an hour a day driving to the supply house because nobody restocked. Inventory is somebody's actual job here.
We don't subcontract our own trade
Everyone on our jobs is on our payroll. That matters for how work gets assigned, how quality gets held, and whether you're competing against a cheaper body next quarter.
Code training is paid time
The NEC cycles and continuing education is a licensing requirement, not a hobby. We pay for it and we pay you to sit in it.
Safety is not a poster
Proper PPE, arc-flash gear where it's called for, and lockout-tagout that people actually follow. Nobody here gets asked to work something hot to save an hour.
What we're looking for
- A current license appropriate to the level, or documented apprentice hours
- A clean driving record, since you'll be in a company vehicle
- The judgment to stop and ask rather than guess on something you haven't seen
- Willingness to explain things to a homeowner without condescending to them
- Showing up when you said you would
We'd rather hire a careful apprentice with a good attitude than a fast journeyman who cuts corners. Corners in this trade show up as fires in ten years.
